The Microtek ObjectScan 1600H digitizes specimens and objects while they remain face up. It combines a 1200 dpi color CCD with a 500 x 353 mm scanning area and an adjustable platform for objects up to 70 mm high. Depth of field reaches +/- 6 mm at 300 dpi. Botanical workflow software can extend capture with label recognition, metadata generation and archive access management; confirm the software configuration when requesting a quote.
